Advanced Wound Care Technology
SofPulse™
HealthSouth is offering cutting-edge treatment for wound care. SofPulse™, is non-invasive, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) therapy, and is FDA cleared, and CMS approved.
SofPulse™ induces a micro-current in injured tissues. This micro-current enhances the electrochemical processes of the body. SofPulse™ targets very basic activity in cells, creating greater efficiency in the electrochemical processes of the body.
The SofPulse™ has been cleared by the FDA for the treatment of wounds. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has authorized the use of this technology for the treatment of chronic wounds, such as Stage III and IV pressure ulcers, diabetic, arterial and venous stasis ulcers.
Assessment Process
