HealthSouth Rehabilitation of Mechanicsburg is a 58-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

Each has a team of rehabilitation professionals trained to meet the specialized needs of patients in that unit.

All rooms have individual patient nightstands, personal wardrobe closets, a bedside television and telephone.

On the patient floor there is a large therapeutic gymnasium. Along with all the specialized equipment needed for therapy, this gymnasiums includes a full kitchen, bathroom, and laundry areas so patients can practice activities of daily living.

The patient floor has a sunny, comfortable lounge, where patients and their families may relax or visit with one another. Visitors are also welcome to enjoy time with their loved one on our covered portico on the first floor.

HealthSouth Regional Specialty Hospital has two inpatient units.

Located on 12 beautifully landscaped acres, both HealthSouth Hospitals are surrounded by shaded lawns, grassy knolls, and secluded picnic areas. Therefore, the hospital grounds are perfectly suited for outdoor visits, leisurely walks, and quiet conversation.
